"Wherefore We must interrupt a silence which it would be criminal to prolong, that We may point out...as they really are, men who are badly disguised." Pope St. Pius X, September 8, 1907, Pascendi Dominici Gregis

Flash Review: Trump Louisville Rally

Taunts dying media companies with 'There is no path to 270' line. "Well, there was a path to 306, but maybe not to 270."

President Trump points out we have inherited a mess.

Mention of North Korea gets boos from audience.

Says the financial system is stacked against the American people. But this will change. 'We are fighting on the side of our great American heritage.'

Trump points out that he will keep all of his promises, but because of the fierce opposition it will take time. Points out the tremendous progress already made.

We can have free trade, only if it is free on both sides. Touts again his Jacksonian credentials. Mentions Henry Clay as inspiration for tariffs.

Trump praised Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, and insisted that the first step in the Healthcare legislation process is to REPEAL. Replacement comes after repeal. And Trump is open to alternatives for the replacement. And Rand is a really good guy. Wink wink. (Notably, the same is NOT said about Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky who is present in the audience and is Senate majority leader.)

Everything is negotiable. Ryan's bill may be just a start and a slight improvement over Obamacare. That doesn't mean we can't make healthcare even more market based down the road.

Trump says we have souls. And we all made by the same Almighty God. "Nobody can beat us."
